Take hold of your dream job at TROST

The cooperative university study programme specialising in commerce lasts three years and is a combination of practical training in the company and theoretical studies at the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW Stuttgart). The cooperative university study programme is ideal for school graduates who would already like to gain practical vocational experience during their studies. As a graduate of a cooperative university study programme, you will be perfectly prepared to join the sales organisation of our central office in Stuttgart as a junior technical and executive management specialist.

Theoretical training

Your study programme teaches extensive business management knowledge. The core subjects are business administration, economics, finance and accounting, marketing, law, human resources and organisation. Key interdisciplinary skills include project management and professional presentations.

During the period of studies, you will write two project reports, as well as the Bachelor's thesis after the sixth semester. Together with the final examinations, this will lead to the internationally recognised academic degree "Bachelor of Arts".

Practical training

Subsequent three to four-month assignments are optimally matched to the content of the cooperative university study programme. The practical training primarily takes place at our central office in Stuttgart, coupled with an assignment in one of the branches.

Through project tasks and active participation in the daily business, you will learn about the workflow of various departments, including Purchasing, Marketing, Human Resources, Controlling and Accounting. During each of the practical assignments, you are accompanied by a contact person who will assist you with any questions while supporting you in the learning process.

During the assignments in the various divisions and departments, you will learn about all the facets of TROST. A special highlight here is an assignment at one of our foreign locations.
